With a total investment of up to 1,103 billion VND, Binh Nguyen solar power plant is urgently entering the final stage of construction to be put into operation as planned.
As a project invested by TTVN Group and Sermsang Group of the Kingdom of Thailand, Binh Nguyen Solar Power Plant is one of the key projects in Quang Ngai province.
Built on mountainous forest land in the west of Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province, with an area of 56ha, the plant’s expected capacity is up to 50MW, the annual electricity output is estimated at 77,000MW, which will be integrated into the national 110kV power grid.

To be able to produce such a large electricity capacity, Binh Nguyen solar power plant has installed 150,327 solar panels. On March 26, 2019, the installation of PV panels was completed to enter the final stage of the construction process. Hundreds of workers, engineers, and modern machines are urgently trying to complete to put the plant into operation.

Using solar energy is a trend not only in Vietnam but also in the world. As an investor with a macro vision, TTVN Group has been promoting investment in 6 solar power projects in provinces and cities, of which Binh Nguyen is the 3rd plant to be started. The project is licensed and receives support from the Government and the people. During the construction process, the project has many advantages and do not cause noise or affect the lives of people in the area. Before proceeding with the construction of the solar power plant, the construction area was arid forest land. After planning, the project will bring many changes, and attract more investment sources to improve the living standards of local people.
As expected, at the end of April 2019, the plant will turn on power and complete the construction of all items. At the beginning of May 2019, Binh Nguyen solar power plant will officially go into commercial operation
The use of renewable energy will contribute to protecting nature, improving living standards and bringing people to experience modern technologies, and improving economic life. After going into operation, the Binh Nguyen solar power plant will continue to supplement the shortage of electricity supply, creating more revenue for the budget of Quang Ngai province.
