On 20 December 2022, all leaders and employees of TTVN Group from all over the country gathered at Glory Resort, Xuan Son, Son Tay, Hanoi for the 2022 annual work summary meeting, deploying the 2023 operation plan and participating in the Team Building program organized by the Company, thereby all together looking back on the past journey, affirming the determination to reach new goals, exchange and strengthen understanding and relationship among members of the Group, join hands to drive the TTVN ship to move far ahead.
Mr. Le Dinh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of the Group presented the 2022 Summary Report, Objectives and Plan for 2023
Assessing the results of production and business activities of TTVN Group in 2022, Mr. Le Dinh Ngoc said in the context of the world’s economic situation is on the brink of a recession, the inflation increased sharply in many countries; the national economy has faced many adverse fluctuations such as: businesses are short of capital, real estate is strictly controlled, outstanding bonds, gasoline and gold prices have drastically increased, Truong Thanh Vietnam has always been cautious and firm to ensure the proactivity, flexibility and efficiency. It was reflected in the fact that Truong Thanh Energy and Real Estate Joint Stock Company (TTVN Group’s subsidiary company), received three awards: Asia Pacific Enterprise Award (APEA) for the excellent enterprise that has continual innovations, outstanding business results and sustainable development awarded by Enterprise Asia, outstanding business results, sustainable development awarded by Enterprise Asia; Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam “VIETNAM PROFIT500” and Top 10 Vietnam No. 1 Brands in 2022.
In order to maintain the 2022 achievements, in 2023, TTVN Group’s Board of Directors sets the goal to focus on the development of the offshore wind power projects in Tra Vinh and LNG power projects in Thai Binh; study opportunities to develop solar power projects in the direction of on-site consumption, hydrogen production and Biomass, and at the same time propose three solutions to successfully undertake the above objectives, that are: reasonable resource distribution, strengthening financial management and improving the capability.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Dang Trung Kien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group emphasized that the period of 2019-2022 is an extremely difficult time for most businesses due to the impact of the epidemic, the pressure of inflation, due to the changes in mechanisms and policies, TTVN Group was not an exception. However, we did not passively sit and wait, but continued developing more renewable energy projects and expanded to research and invest in LNG power projects. All these projects have been subjected to stringent review/ assessment by the local and central competent authorities, ministries and departments, in the process of consideration for inclusion in the National Power Development Plan VIII. Recently, at the 2nd Asian Green Growth Partnership Ministerial Meeting (AGGPM) hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan, the LNG Power Centre developed by TTVN was selected as one of the 12 typical projects in Asia for signing the Joint Development Agreement with Japanese partners in the presence of METI leaders, at the same time Tra Vinh V4 wind power project developed by TTVN Group was funded by METI for the survey and pre-feasibility study.
According to Mr. Dang Trung Kien, 2023 will still be a year with many difficulties and challenges, therefore, it is required that each manager and employee in the Group to be more innovative in thinking and more creative in working, it is essential to create breakthroughs and differences in order to actualize the set goals. In such a context, the Group’s leaders selected the slogan “FIRMLY SAILING” for the Group’s action in 2023.
