The large number of the distinguished guests and leaders of Quang Ngai province attended the Inauguration Ceremony of Binh Nguyen Solar Power Plant in the morning of 04 June 2019.
Binh Nguyen solar power plant was built in 56 ha land in Binh Nguyen commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province with a capacity of 49.608MWp, total investment capital of VND 1,138 billion. The plant used photovoltaic technology, with 150,327 PV panels that directly convert the sunlight into the power energy, inverter systems, transformers, 22/110kV substations with a capacity of 63MVA. The investor of the project is Truong Thanh Vietnam Group and Sermsang Power Corporation (Thailand), the general contractor is the reputable enterprises including Sharp Corporation from Japan and Hawee Construction and Industry JSC.
Overview of Binh Nguyen Solar Power PlantBinh Nguyen Solar Power Plant was assessed as one of the key project of Quang Ngai province in particular and the southern Central Region in general. The plant was invested in scale and applied advanced science and technologies together with the engagement of the leading and high-qualified engineers in Vietnam and the world. Only after 09 months from the date of commencement, the plant was put into commercial operation in May 2019 and officially inaugurated and put into operation today.
