In the morning of 04 July 2020, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association (VECEA) held a ceremony to honor and award the First Sustainable Energy Award in 2019. Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company – one of 61 enterprises operating in the field of industrial production and trade and services – was honored and received the award.
The event took place in the context of increasing demand for power consumption, and encouraging enterprises and people to use energy economically and efficiently has been considered as one of the key solutions to ensure the national energy security.
This is the first time the award was held to honor the enterprises operating in the field of exploitation, production, processing, power transmission and distribution, the enterprises operating in the field of renewable energy and the enterprises producing energy-saving products as well. By the event, the Organizer would like to launch the propaganda and dissemination of renewable energy and energy-saving initiatives, technologies and solutions and to convey the messages about the green growth, the environmental protection to all sectors of the economy, the communities and the whole society.
The “2019 Sustainable Energy Award” program organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade was an activity within the framework of the National Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy for the period of 2019 – 2030 approved by the Prime Minister.
Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company (TTVN Group) – one of 11 newly-established enterprises – was honored to be receive the “2019 Sustainable Energy Award” by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
