In the morning of 15 January 2020, Mr. Dang Trung Kien, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Mac Quang Huy, a member of the Board of Directors cum Deputy General Director of TTVN Group and Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tra Vinh Wind Power Joint Stock Company attended and received the Investment Registration Certificate of V1-2 wind power plant project at the Investment Promotion Conference of Tra Vinh province in 2020 held by the Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of Green Economy.
Attending the Conference were Politburo members, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Politburo member and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, together with more than 600 delegates, representatives of ministries and departments at central and local levels, representatives of embassies, international organizations, enterprises, local and foreign investors, including TTVN Group.
Speaking at the Conference, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of Tra Vinh province, which is showing its growth aspiration to surpass itself, as a province with a GDP growth rate of nearly 15% in 2019, entering the top rankings of GDP growth of the whole country, and trusted that Tra Vinh will be a attractive place for investment and the projects, the agreements signed at the Conference with a total capital of more than VND 205,000 billion are a strong impression that opens a new chapter in the development of Tra Vinh.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made a speech at the ConferenceAt the conference, People’s Committee of Tra Vinh Province handed over Investment Policy Decision and Investment Registration Certificate for 05 key projects, of which TTVN Group was honored to be handed over the Investment Registration Certificate of V1-2 Wind Power Project with capacity 48MW at coastal floodplain, at Truong Long Hoa commune, Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province. This is the second project invested by the joint venture of TTVN Group and Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited of Thailand with a total investment capital of VND 2,232 billion; it is expected to commence the construction in February 2020.
